The New Council of the Jordanian General Association of Optometrists held its first meeting on July 4, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The meeting witnessed the attendance of members and many important matters of interest to the vision sector in Jordan. One of the most prominent outcomes of this meeting was working on creating a map of the general session and its future vision and mission. In addition, cooperation with many promising proposals spread in the multidisciplinary field and holding monitoring in Jordan, cooperation between members and colleagues, joint communication and raising the professional level of practitioners in this. Soon, the vision and mission of the association will be announced, God willing, hoping to advance and excel in our profession.
